Dr. Heather Boyter-Johnson
Dr. Heather Boyter-Johnson has always been passionate about animals. At the age of ten she decided that she was going to be a veterinarian and an exciting adventure began. She received her BS degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Southern Utah University in 2008, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.
Dr. Boyter-Johnson enjoys all aspects of practicing veterinary medicine. Her areas of interest include challenging internal medicine cases, soft tissue surgery and dentistry; but her favorite part of veterinary medicine is getting to know so many different people and sharing in the special bond they have with their pets.
Originally from Cedar City, she is excited about joining Cedar Veterinary Clinic and coming back home. Dr. Boyter-Johnson and her husband Carl have no problem keeping busy with Mortie, a rescued Schnauzer mix and two high-spirited Brittany Spaniels, Oakley and Calamity Jane. When not at the clinic, she enjoys trapshooting, gardening and enjoying the outdoors.
